The Department of Aquaculture is one of five departments in the Faculty of Fisheries at Patuakhali Science and Technology University. The department offers eighteen (18) undergraduate courses with a total of 32 credits. Postgraduate students can take 12 courses with research credits for the MS in Aquaculture, totaling 40 credits. Moreover, the Department offers a PhD degree with unique specializations. The department is dedicated to producing competent fisheries graduates. Students gain advanced theoretical knowledge and hands-on farming experience to boost aquaculture production. The Department also invests in advanced research to solve aquaculture problems related to nutrition and disease.
