The Department of Agronomy at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) is one of the university’s oldest and largest departments. It consists of twelve faculty members, including 6 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, and 2 Lecturers, along with one officer and three support staff. The department aims to contribute to the advancement of Bangladesh’s agricultural economy by providing academic leadership and producing competent graduates in the field of agronomy.Agronomy focuses on the interactions among crops, soil, and the environment, with the primary objective of enhancing crop productivity.
